Hi

 Yes the Clifton by the Sea is still in Bacliff, but not the origional one 
that was there for 60 plus years. It is still a nice place to eat. Also, 
Topwater in San Leon is great as is Gillhooley's.

Also, Carolyn, there is Bass & Bay RV park between San Leon and Bacliff. It 
has a freshwater pond you can fish in, and it is close to the Spillway, 
where a County Park is located for saltwater fishing and crabbing. No 
restrictions that I know of as it is used by a lot of construction workers, 
but well maintained. Used to be called Amanda's

Might be a place for you and DD. I own a place on the water at San Leon and 
there are several RV parks in the area. You can stay out of the rat race, 
but be handy to Kemah, Texas City and Galveston.
