[SilverStreak] Propane line under trailer?

Michelle, 
  On my Silver Steak (made in 1969) the gas line under the trailer is black steel 
pipe, it then changes to copper tube when it goes thru the floor. Any and all 
fittings should be checked with soapy water for bubbles when you turn it on. More 
than one RV has been blown to smithereens by a propane leak. Especially make sure 
that the disconnected water heater and furnace lines have been plugged off when 
those appliances were removed.
