[SilverStreak] Re: Hinges for back trunk - different kinds

My 1979 SS has an aluminum interlocked channel hinge. It cannot seize up like 
a piano hinge. The two sectins, one on the door and one on the body, slide 
together endwise.
A brass or aluminum piano hinge should last a long time, though, with occasional 
lubrication.
