Good point on the brake line wire. However my 63 24' Tradewind has hydraulic 'Stromberg' brakes, not electric or vacuum assist. I have no notion where that yellow wire of mine ends up (it would be very handy to rig up a reverse light or two. Re books... I have many but no book that goes into the 12 volt wiring diagrams (anyone with one feel free to mail me). I'm surprised that I have seen no responses on my three wire to the rear lights question. I must be the only one to have those three wires . You are correct that my wires at the pigtail do not match each of the others at the light itself.

Very good question Mel from MN, it does sound logical that the wiring schemes would at least be close.
