My 1973 31' Airstream spends it's time parked at a campground, but for some reason I think it would be cool to occasionally light up the running (clearance) lights. I'm always hooked up to shore power.

I know that putting 12 Volts on the GRN wire of the 7 pin connector should light the lamps. My plan it so get a mating connector, and a switch.

Are there any pins on the connector that would have 12 volts on them when I am on shore power? I see the center pin (BLU) is the charge line, and know it would have 12 volts from the tow vehicle when hooked up.

Would this pin be hot when on shore power? If not, how can I make this work?
