Sorry, Cheyanne, I didn't mean to suggest I left it open to the ground...I
am hooked up to a sewer connection. And as I understand it, in that
situation it is best to leave the graywater valve open and the blackwater
valve closed. (graywater open for general convenience and free use of water,
blackwater closed to avoid the nasty situation described earlier in this
thread.)
