I have two sets of regular screens for my Bambi. One set is of a sunshade
fabric, which I bought at Ace Hardware. I made pull down shades out of
it for a house I had at the beach in California with lots of west facing
windows. It would lower the temperature in the afternoon (when the sun
was
reflected off the ocean through LOTS of windows) by 20 degrees in no
time at all. The stuff is really easy to use, doesn't spoil the view, and
makes for great privacy. Comes in brown and black, and I think white by
special order. My next project is going to be making an awning out of it.

P.S. I'm in Southeastern Arizona. We need to worry about UV a lot.
