Hi Peter,

I see no problem with snaps on your roller - I have two sets on mine, one for my add a room and the second for my sunscreens. Unfortunately both the room and screen already had the male snaps on them, and naturally they did not match each other (at different locations).

Try to get good quality snaps so they do not rust and for areas that have extra stress, ie at the ends, get the snaps with the "pull dot" or something like that as they normally have to be pulled off in a specific direction - otherwise they will not come off.

Finally, be careful when installing the snaps that you do not put stress on the awning flap which you probably will be mounting your snaps through. I have seen several awnings ripped due to the snaps putting pressure on the awning as it is rolled up.

Cheers - EH!
