Actually there were both Silver Streak's and Silver Stream's. The way to tell them apart was the Silver Streak's waist band was gold and the Silver Stream's was blue. The Silver Streak was in production until July 1996. The Silver Stream stopped a number of years prior. I wonder if the polishing techniques used on Airstream's would work on the anodized metal of the Silver's. In the past I have talked to the folks that work on old Avions and they don't recommend polishing of any kind. I'll let Jim decide the feasibility of that one. By the way Avion does have a web site. I haven't seen one for the Silver's yet.
