Tia. The regulator is placed in line with the hose at the camps water
tap. In that way, it protects the hoses too. Once connected, it stays
in-line as long as the water lines are connected. Break camp, remove the
regulator and hoses. The device is metal, usually, and about three
inches long. Cheap insurance!
