The fitting was not installed correctly if it came off. Why couldn't
you have a short section spliced in? Hopefully, they would do the
installation correctly this time. You had a defective connection, that
wasn't the equipment's fault. Like I said before, some work is done
by
"so-called mechanics". This was one of those times. I wouldn't quit
using it for what it was intended, I would get it fixed correctly.
