I didn't understand your reply, but maybe you didn't understand that I meant
the white hose from the faucet to the city water inlet which is where the one
in my Airstream is.

Telling me to carry a hose repair kit isn't the answer I was looking for. I
would prefer the hose not to break in the first place which is what I
understand can happen if too much pressure shoots through it to the on board
regulator.

Am I not making myself clear?
