Our plates travel in a rack, glasses (including wine glasses) in individual
compartments in a cardboard box. Have broken one or two glasses, by dropping
them on the ceramic tile galley floor while parked. Never enroute. Hit
a pothole on the Ohio Turnpike a few years back that bent the front suspension
of the motor home (in the dark, no warning, must have been a foot or more
deep) but
didn't break any china. That was a BIG impact ...
