There have been a couple of posts about tires, which brand, etc. I am about to buy what I believe is my 18th vehicle -- have kind-a lost count. My commute is 40 miles round trip and I am in my 26th year on this run. Like most of you, I have bought a lot of tires.

Just one comment: It seems like every time I have tried to save a few bucks with an off brand I have been burned. I have had some really good tires from several of the major companies. I try to put really good tires even on an old vehicle.

Just two questions: How often do you change trailer tires and what brand(s) do you like for your Airstream? Related to tires -- wheels, etc. is the subject of wheel bearings. How often do you repack the wheel bearings on your trailer? My owner's manual says six months or 10,000 miles. I thought the six months seemed like overkill.
