Melissa,
We are NOT discussing weight distribution bars and sway control bars interchangeably, these are 2 seperate devices, serving 2 distinct purposes. Yes, you can use 2 anti-sway bars, and it's apparently recommended on larger trailers (> 25 feet long).

Along those same lines: One of the keys to a stable towing rig is to have a large, heavy, and heavily-sprung tow vehicle. The idea is to have a big enough "dog" that the "tail" has a hard time wagging it. Think about it: the trailer by itself is inherently unstable, it gets whatever stability it has from the tow vehicle.
