Do any of you use a sway control? I have a new Eaz-lift sway control, minus the instructions. (It came with my trailer, not installed) I was thinking about using it, on my larger trailer. I understand how it mounts, but I do not now how far out to extend the plate before marking the hole for the
ball mount on the trailer frame. I would guess halfway or a litttle less? Also, what is the a distance the small sway ball should be from the larger trailer ball, or does it not matter? I have to weld a plate and ball on my hitch still? Also once mounted any recommendations on adjusting it? Should I use the factory setting on the bottom screw and tighten the top handle all the way? Forgive me, I have never had to set one up before. I have only seen them mounted on other campers. Thank you for your inputs.
