You know, I think part of the fun of having the Airstream is towing it. I like the looks I get..... sometimes wistful looks, like they wish they could just give up all their responsibilites and hit the road .....It's a freedom thing. Sometimes I think it's just envious looks... simply because it's an Airstream.
It's a fun way to meet people, I don't know about other trailers, but the Airstream is a real conversation starter.
So... when *I* hit the lottery I will still drive my Airstream.... but it will be 28 foot Limited (I like them.. if they don't come in 28 feet...the smallest Limited) and have a walk around double bed in the bedroom and I will be towing it with the new Ford Super Duty Excursion with the Powerstroke Diesel.... dripping in leather inside. (c: The Ford and the Airstream that is. (c:
It will also have the Hensley.... after reading about all the different ways to back up over the ball I am appreciating my Hensley more and more. It's a one shot deal (sometimes 2) to nail it.
