I just want to point out what a huge set of variables we deal with in this
debate.

If you are towing a pre '70s trailer (much lighter than newer ones) in the
low 20s in length, with a 3/4 ton Suburban, I'll bet you will not need one
of the fancy hitch solutions of which we debate.

If you are towing a 32 foot monster that is at the towing capacity of your
vehicle, your needs may be different.

I once towed a 22' 1958 stripped down Airstream with a one ton Dodge diesel
truck with dual rear tires, and the experience was like how the hensley is
described...I had to be careful because it felt like the trailer was not
even there.

Just remember how different each setup is...
