Tom,

I've had a new circuit board installed in my Suburban furnace two winters ago. We used a "Dinosaur" board and it's worked perfectly ever since. The furnace was almost new when the Suburban circuit board went out. A lot of folks have had problems with the Suburban board. I was told that the Suburban circuit board gave only "one try" when trying to ignite and if it didn't do it this one time
that it would shut down. The replacement circuit board I've been told will give up to three trys before shutting down. This new board has always worked!!

Last winter the wife and I were full timing it in our 31ft. and our neighbor's brand X motor home's Suburban furnace went out. I shared the circuit board info with him and he just looked at me funny. He went ahead and put another Suburban circuit board in----- about a month later his furnace went out again. Nuf said.

Hope that you can get by with just an igniter though. A lot cheaper fix.
