I have this one without the thermostat on my Airstream. Installed it myself. I chose it for the following reasons. Easy installation. It merely required removing the original fan and then attaching the  Turbo/Maxx on the vent rim from the outside. Further, I liked the idea of the fan being on the outside of the trailer rather than in the ceiling. It is much quieter. If you have any questions I'd be pleased to try and answer them.
