Actually, y'all should all come down here to Louisiana and enjoy the good life! We have a very low income tax, mostly NO property taxes as anything deemed your primary residence has a $100,000 tax exemption. Inheritance tax is going away and with creative lawyering is insignificant anyway. Vehicle registrations are cheap, based on the 4% state sales tax, and the local taxes at the point of domicile.

In addition, we have the best food in the country (Ask Byron the Itinerant) ! :)
