I was thinking about the heatpump option for a while...now I'm leaning towards the separate furnace option. The catch w/ the heat pump is that is can only supply heat if the outside temp is 40 degrees of higher. That means I need a furnace in any case, and I figured I'd save the few extra dollars and extra pounds.
