Jon and gang,

In addition to the tankless hot water system, I am going to install an exterior shower system that will be mounted flush onto the trailer right next to the hot water heater access door and into the area under the kitchen sink. I figure the outside shower can be used by the kids for many of our warm weather trips without overloading the holding tank (actually I'll probably use it too when we are in remote areas). It should also be easier to clean up than the present bathroom after a couple of showers.

The exterior shower set-up consists of separate hot and cold controls with a long faucet wand. The exterior door can be painted and is lockable (would prefer an unpainted version but have not found one, perhaps will have a machine shop fabricate one down the road).

I have never seen an Airstream with one of these exterior showers but have seen SOBs offered from the factory with this as an option. In fact, some pop-ups have this as a standard feature.

Well those are the plans, now I gotta get movin' on it by ordering the necessary parts. The hardest part for me is to cut the holes in the side of the trailer but I've done it before and will again. It just
always makes me a little nervous.
