The bottom line that I have found is that it is safer to depend on your own water tank and system as opposed to external mysteries.I always carry a water test kit. I buy bottled water for drinking and coffee, and I've experienced very few incidences of bad water in my travels. I make sure that I have some water in my freshwater tank for rest stops and the occasional couple of nights with no water hook-up.Tom H.
