Hi Ted: I agree with the advise so far. The only other suggestion I would add is to have the treansmission shop flush the system and reload with Mobil-1 synthetic ATF. MUCH superior to petrochemical based atf in high stress and heat of pulling trailers about.

On the mounting problem: There is actually a mounting kit that the transmission shops have that will mount the cooler on the AC condenser radiator without damage, and puts the transmission cooler in the cool air ahead of all the engine and AC heat. It is a device that clips through the radiator like a toggle bolt assembly.
