Clear Coat Problem ? Sounds like you have a warranty ? I have seen Patch
Spray repair none of them look very good. Tell them to strip it and reapply
it if you have a warranty. If no warranty tell them to remove it from the
Complete panel and reseal with the NEW type they started using last year.
Alcoa now applies this stuff to the skins I think before Airstream gets
them.

Do you know what Filiform IS ? IT is Corrision growth from under Coatings.
Very common in the Airstream World. I have removed the coatings on many
trailers and everyone has had Filiform under it. The very best Coating Job I
have seen is done by P & S they are out of OHIO. WE "Airmark being a
Aviation Based Experience Company do not promote coatings ( Plastic,
Lacquer , POLY) . This stuff is doomed for failure.

Quick fix->-> Vinegar in a spray bottle , spray it on let it dry, 24 hours
spray again let it dry . You have just Killed it . The removal is what is
hard. I sprayed my 64 Belly skin with it , I used a garden tank sprayer.

The following shall dry out the coatings and cause it to crack and come off.
Heavy Alkaline Based cleaners of 5% or more, Heavy based Citrus Based of 10
%,silicones of any type , Ammonia ( window cleaners with Ammonia ) Gas,
Diesel and Petroleum based products. Example > your Joe Bobs Car Wash - it
has been proven the quickest cleaners are Alkaline . So what do they use to
wash a Auto in 5 minutes . I indeed ask a man who managed 5 car washes
"what type of soap do you use in the car wash system ?" answer> Alkaline based !

We have a Micro Sealer that stop corrision growth and stops oxidation on
bare UN coated Skins.
