This is my first time in a discussion group so I would request your patience w/my obviously pedestrian level of cyberspeak. My name is Doug Stephan and I am a Lieutenant Commander on active duty in the US Coast Guard, currently flying helicopters at CG Air Station Miami, FL. I live in a 1996 Royals
Int'l which I paid too much for and I want to get rid of it and acquire a vintage airstream. Problem is, I know zero about what to look for and what it takes to restore one. Are there any good texts or articles on the subject anyone could recommend? For example: I want to build my own cabinetry for it but
how do you deal with the fact that the dern thing is round inside? What about references to consult for keeping things original?

I got a million questions. I'll just listen for a while.
