Full force is rather hard on things in my opinion, but in an emergency situation I feel that it's the lesser of the evils. Yes, if on too long you could get burned out brake parts, especially with all the battery power that you have on board. God forbid a "break away" ever happening to you, but if it does just go back to your (hopefully intact) trailer and pop the pin back into the break away switch or remove your power cable and you should be fine. It takes a while to burn out healthy brake units and you should be just fine.

Do you ever get up to Wash. state? It would be nice to meet sometime if it ever works out.
