I think ther is some exact info on Airstream central regarding the Argosy. My best recollection without checking is that the Argosy was first built around 71 or 72. It is an Airstream product. I remmber looking at them before buying my first Airstream in 72. The Argosy was supposed to be a
lower priced trailer for those wanting an Airstream. It came in even numbered lengths. The Airstream of the time was odd numbered lengths. The end bells were steel instead of aluminum. They were painted a 2 tone beige and brown which faded rapidly in sunlight.

I don't recall how long they were made however I don't think they carried past the early 80's if that long. I believe there were also some motor homes made with that nameplate.

There are several Argosies in the Vintage club. A very nice one was at the Delaware get together this fall.
