Hey folks:

Being an Airstream ignoramus, I was startled to spot an Argosy for the first time, seemingly camped permanently at a CG here in Austin TX.

I looked, shooked my head, looked again, and couldn't quite believe my eyes. It looks exactly like my 99 Airstream Bambi. Cept it seems to be painted, kind of an off-white, heading-toward-peach color.

And it has two axles, whereas my ridiculously expensive '99 (the first one, anyway) had already stranded me, two hours away from the selling dealer, primarily because of the single wheel on a side, which snapped clean off.

So, enlighten me, folks. Who made the Argosy? And what years were they made? This one looks elderly, but I have no way of knowing.
