Great job for reporting that price. I called PrecisionTemp today and asked about whether the doors are available unpainted for an Airstream. They told me that they had sold some doors left over from the Airstream Legend series last year and thus have some brushed aluminum doors available as well as the painted white doors. They will offer those at the same price.

Then I popped the question of price and was told that they cost $695. I told them that a price of $649 is being reported on the VAC.Airstream.Net discussion group list and was told to forward them the email and they will see what they can do!

In other words Roy, you first saved us $300 by buying straight from the manufacturer as opposed to Camping World and then another $50 for reporting the quote at $649! Great job....actually Roy, are you sure that you didn't see that price for $20?

I plan on buying it later this week (expecting to pay $649 plus $15 S+H).
