Jon,

I am pretty familiar with the Aquastar products (almost put the 125 into a new house but we ended up in a different home) but my understanding from their literature is that they need more area and venting space than is possible for most RVs, especially smaller units (mine is 21 ft). It also appears from the Jade Mountain site that the AQstar80 has been discontinued since the purchase from Bosch although their model 38 looks like it could do the job and is cheaper.

Am I missing something in the way that I am reading the specs? I would like to place the unit under my sink in the kitchen to replace all electric unit that I now have!

This gets me back to the PrecisionTemp5000 unit being sold by Camping World as the only unit that has been designed and packaged for RVs. There looks to be enough room to cut an opening for even a 10 gallon water tank unit which is about the same type of opening that the  recisionTemp5000 unit appears to require.

However, I like the sound of the $500 much more than the one grand.
