What he's saying above is that the TV wire sometimes has filters in it that could block the satellite signals. These filters help block excess electrical noise, but can also interfere with some signals.

Once you have the dish aimed and working (No small feat, at times...) you can hook the dish into your trailer and at least you'll know that THE DISH and BOX are working, in case you have difficulties with the internal wiring.
