Two, the wiring built into the coach is coupled in such a way that only TV signal can travel on it with no voltage being able to pass. In order to get satellite to work you must connect satellite to receiver then into the coach distribution.

What he's saying above is that the TV wire sometimes has filters in it that could block the satellite signals. These filters help block excess electrical noise, but can also interfere with some signals.

Is there anyway to connect this sat from the outside? I don't want to have to leave the door open with the wire coming in. The one on my house has an outside connection..surely the one on my trailer can too........

Once you have the dish aimed and working (No small feat, at times...) you can hook the dish into your trailer and at least you'll know that THE DISH and BOX are working, in case you have difficulties with the internal wiring.
