I don't see why not...just take the receiver from the house with you.

You can't find them that long (c: Don't worry about it. IF you buy any movies on the road when you get home and plug it back into the home phone it will read that you saw a movie and bill you for it.

Either way, whether you buy movies or not you can go without the phone line...for a while.

That's up to you........... I have a dual system at home and another system for the trailer... they are so cheap now.... what the heck.

It shouldn't get stolen in a campground... the rv newsgroup guys say they never heard of one being stolen. I leave mine unattended. I got my tri-pod at Radio Shack....... I wrote earlier how my dish is on 4 feet of pvc pipe. The tripod sits on the ground with tent stakes to hold it. (Tent stakes are great...step on them to put them in and just pull to get them out) I bought a flat cable at RS which goes out the window and I attach the coax to each end. One to the dish...and one to the receiver. Can't use the tv thingie inside because it has a boost on it. The flat cable is approx 8 inces long...and it lives permanently in the window. The window closes all the way flush.

Hope this helps.............
