Since my glass is usually half-EMPTY:

I'd be VERY reluctant to believe that there's any two-way internet service going on yet, by way of the Hughes birds. Here's why:

The service that Hughes is involved with now does indeed provide ONE-way (receive) high speed internet access. But that's only half the battle. The other half, of course, would be your transmitting to the service itself.

The way that's presently done is -- guess what -- by way of a phone line. And us full-timers don't got no phone lines! .

Now, if I'm wrong, (((and I REALLY hope I am!))), that would mean that Hughes has gone and put up brand new satellites that offer two way transmissions. And, maybe they have. Anybody know?
