Don't worry, Liz....someone on here who knows what's cookin' with this will answer you....My opinion is that the more original an Airstream is kept, the more 'collectors' value' it will  retain....However, changing curtains, foam covers, and floor covering is common and shouldn't hurt anything...But, if the ones you take off/out are still good, I would keep them in case a 'purest' is interested when/if you sell.....

Subject: [airstream] hi

hi from colorado springs! my husband and i just bought our first airstream- a '67 safari....we have admired airstream trailers for several years and finally had a chance to get a good deal on one right down the street from us. we are very excited about cleaning her up and getting out on the road....before we make any changes on the interior which seems to be all original, we were wondering what the general opinion is about restoring, updating, etc. any suggestions?

thanks,
liz and kirk obear
