Thank you all for the response to my original post. I see this got
quite "in-depth". Jim and I are pretty "set" on putting the stuff in, I
just wondered what experience any of you had (if any) and I see that
some of you have. The New Limiteds have the hardwood in them, so they
MUST work for beauty or for whatever reason. We are just contemplating
WHICH one to put in as far as durability and "ease of installation". I
THINK we are going to go with the Congoleum "laminate" and I say
laminate, as it is a "type" of vinyl flooring (plastic type) with no
tongue and groove to work with. I also talked to the "professionals" at
Home Depot, what they told us was that the Pergo brand and other of that
type with the tongue and groove is a "floating floor" and the "problem"
would be the edges and putting on some type of corner round because that
stuff does not butt up to the walls, etc. It seems like the Congoleum
would be easier to lay down, etc with the glue but who knows??

The point of the trailer constantly moving, etc., is a good point and
one that I really didn't take into consideration so thank you for that.
We have a builder who is a friend that installed this in homes and told
us he would help us do the TT, for whatever that is worth. I just don't
know if we're capable of tackling this job ourselves. I just REALLY
like the look and feel of the "wood" flooring. Parquet is not our
particular taste, but thank you for that information as well. We'll let
you know how it goes once we decide to "Bite the Bullet".

Thanks again for the information...you people are great!

ps: Ordered those S & P shakers that someone had posted on here, they
arrived today. Nice Father's Day present for the hubby! (Besides, maybe
HE'LL do the cooking - hey I can dream!) Really cute, thank you so much
for sharing the website.
