I know three a/s owners who put in standard parquet pattern flooring in
their trailers would good success and have seen several others. One
being myself. You can find this flooring at Home Depot and other do it
youself type stores. Mine came with glue strips on back and if I recall
correctly the sheets were 1ft by 2 ft with a paper backing on surface
which was removed with a damp cloth after material was layed. I layed
according to instructions and put a baseboard strip in exposed areas. My
acquaintances glued their parquet down same as if it was a house
installation. A bit more difficult installation. Over time their jobs
came out a bit better in that they had less movement in their floor then
mine as I got a couple separation or seam cracks, but nothing that is
really bothersome or disfiguring.

I smile at concerns over moisture in their trailers going to ruin floor.
Ifenough water gets on floor to ruin wood it will probably do as much
damage to vinyl tile or sheet goods. Wood floors takes some care but
less then carpet but and maybe only a little more then vinyl.
