You're right about the Pergo I think. We've heard that same thing. BUT,
on the "laminate" I'm talking about - it is put out (well, one type
anyway) by Congoleum, and it is a "type" of Vinyl flooring. It's
extremely thin, and weighs next to nothing, I guess that is why I'm
asking. It also has like a 15 year warranty or something of that nature.
I hate trying to sweep carpet, as I camp where there is no electricity (or
running water) for that matter.

When I get up there next, I will take a picture of our very well
constructed "Tush Mahal" - that's a nice word for our outhouse. I have a
feeling this group would enjoy it! My husband and a good friend of ours
constructed the beauty. Anyway, I can't hardly stand the carpet anymore
and we have young children...ages 9 & 5 and one on the way, soooo...I NEED
the laminate, LOL. I really would love to talk to someone that has done
this before.
