No experience, but it sounds like a good idea... since I travel with dogs.

I can say that Donald and Harriet Kribbs, whose trailer I saw in Georgia a
few weeks ago, have installed hardwood floors (Bruce I think) in the kitchen
and entry.... it was actually parkay flooring... and commercial carpet in the
bedroom and living room.
