Ha ha ha .. I've done the same thing and it is impossible to keep
rugs on it. They curl up by the cabinets and make things look worse,
not to mention that the sofa is so snug to the floor that once you
put a carpet down you can't open the drawer under it!

We've got three kids and a great dane. Carpets are dirt magnets and
impossible to keep clean. Wood floor is definitely on our list of
upgrades planned. I have enjoyed many informative postings about wood
floors on this list. It is a shame they do not offer wood floor as the
default cover. It would not be hard or expensive to put down at the
factory, before they install all the interiors.
