Unlike hardwood flooring which is nailed to the sub flooring, Pergo is glued in place. It's also thinner so you won't run into any clearance problems under doors and drawers. The only caution is to heed their warning to leave a slight gap around the edges for slight swelling caused by temp changes and, in our application, aluminum body flexing.
Pergo is a brand name and the original and there are other brands with similar stuff, as far as I know.
