I put parquet wood floor, from Home Base, in front portion, thru galley, of my 30 ft. Came in 1 ft sq pieces. Glued it down with two-way tape already on squares. It is prefinished but it does require some finish treatment from time to time but beats carpet and has nice appearance. Doubt it is much heavier then carpet. Been in six years and working out OK. I know two other A/S owners who put in similar wood floors except they glued it directly to sub flooring with mastic, similar if you were putting it in your home. Have seen several other A/S with wood tile floors.

The Pergo floor rests on a thin layer of foam and is designed to float. This would seem to me to be advantageous in a trailer as it would flex with movement of trailer.
