My husband and I were contemplating whether to go wood or vinyl tile on am much needed new floor. I had this discussion a few months ago with an A/S netter and, yes, the concern is the weight. We have a 31' 1975 Sovereign. We also have three small children (6,3,6 mos). Another concern is wear and tear. I want it to look nice, but I want it to be durable and not be screaming every 10 seconds that they are tracking mud, etc. Afterall, isn't that part of camping. We have decided to go with a vinyl sheet (don't recall who it is made by off hand) but in the wood floor pattern. I really had my heart set on Pergo, but my husband has had a little trouble with price and labor (his own) to install. Maybe when all the youngens are gone, we can upgrade. We are only going to do the living area and the gally - carpet from center bath to back bedroom (kid's room). Just my comments.
