I have carpeting in the living room area of my 29' Excella. I really find this a pain in the neck because it gets dirty so easily. I have been thinking that when the carpet is no longer cleanable to remove it and lay either wood strip flooring as is in the kitchen area or vinyl tiles. Then I would put down throw rugs which are easily taken out for a good shaking or if necessary easily replaced.

Does anyone have advice on this matter?
