I had a A&E 8500 series on my 1970 Tradewind it worked fine. I also have a Falkner awning on my 1986 and 1989 Airstreams, they both work great. Although from looking at Zip-Dee they are made a little different and maybe better than the others, but you have to also pay double the price.
