Hi folks,

Last time I wrote in I mentioned that on our trip down to Florida, we had a slight mishap when an 18 wheeler crowded us into a construction area and our A/S hit an orange cone which popped out the awning rail where it screws into the rub rail. We were able to screw it back in enough for it to hold for the remainder of the trip. However, when my husband tried to fix it permanently, the screws will no longer hold. What holds these screws in place other than the body of the A/S. If Dick moves the bracket over 1/2", will that mess up the alighment of the awning rail? Anyone have a better solution? The rub rail has also been pulled out slightly. I did get the Ten-X caulk recommended by Roy Lashway. But, we want to solve the screw problem before caulking the rub rail.

Thanks for any advice.
