The new A/S trailers are much heavier than the vintage A/S a new 34' limited 34'FK weighs about #8210 dry weight. Also don't forget that the GCWR is calculated with one passenger in the vehicle. Additional passengers and cargo have to be deducted from the total GCWR. I am not a full time RVer and I don't tow a large A/S. But I figured that with the price of the new trucks, I would buy a truck that would be able to haul any RV that I buy in the future. By the way I do own a one ton Dodge clubcab with the Cummins Diesel and I get 19 miles to the gallon unloaded. :-) Hmmm that 34' limited does look nice.
