Jon, heres a simple and quick solution to end your misery. Remove the trays from your oven, get on your knees ( wear knee pads if you have them) stick your head as far as possible into, yes, into the oven, then take a match, no, what am I saying, forget all that. Remove the inspection plate from the bottom part of the oven. You should be able to see the burner and pilot and thermostat. The thermocouple will unscrew and can be replaced with a generic replacement. If that doesn't work, trash the oven and put in its place a small microwave oven, $89 Sams or any discount store. Safer, cooler, handier, and much faster.

Boondocks, no shorepower, not to worry , a small inverter or a small generator will fill the bill for a microwave. If all the above sounds too whacky, just leave it the way it is.
