I was hoping someone would have replied by now has had some real live
experience with your problem. But I'll try and if I am wrong I am sure
someone will jump in and save you.

Your problem is that the plasti coast has dried out and is peeling away.
As I understand it from previous messaging you can remove deterioating
plasti coat with lacquer thinner
and then with a can of touch up plstic coast in a spray can (get from
Airstream dealer) spray the area where you have removed old plasti coast.
 

Purpose to recoat with plasti coast is to protect the raw aluminum from
corrosion.
